DISCOVER SIMPLE PROMPTS AND PRESSURE FREE GUIDES

You are here. That is the first brave thing.

Maybe you found us through a Pinterest pin at 2am. Maybe a friend sent you a link. Maybe you’ve been circling this site for weeks, reading the blog titles, wondering if this space is really for someone like you.

It is.

Litsje is a refuge for the introverted soul. A place where your journal becomes a conversation not a performance. Where you can bring the mess the doubt the 3am thoughts and the prayers you’re not sure anyone is hearing. Where being quiet is not a flaw. It is a gift.

My name is Debbera. I created this space because I needed it to exist. I needed somewhere that didn’t ask me to be louder, faster, or more put together. I needed a place where my pen could be honest and my faith could be imperfect and both of those things could be enough.

If you have ever felt too quiet for the loud world, too deep for the shallow conversations or too tired for the performance then you are not just welcome here. You are home.

Where would you like to begin?

I’ve created four paths, each one designed for a different season. Pick the one that sounds most like where you are right now. There is no wrong choice.

Just take a soft breath, see which path below feels most like you today

  • For the Beginners Heart

    For the Beginners Heart

You have never journaled before, or it’s been so long you’ve forgotten how to start. The blank page feels intimidating. You’re not sure what to write or whether what you write will be “enough.”
It will be. One honest sentence is enough. One line written in the dark is enough. This path gives you permission to begin without pressure, without perfection and without fancy supplies.

  • For the Soul Seeking a Spark

For the Soul Seeking a Spark

You’ve journaled before but the flame has dimmed. The pages feel repetitive. The prompts feel stale. You want something that wakes up the part of you that used to feel things deeply.
This path brings you fresh prompts, unexpected questions and reflections designed to reignite what the world has slowly put out.

  • For the Seeker Ready to go Deeper

For the Seeker Ready to go Deeper

You already journal. You already pray on the page. you know there’s a deeper well and you want to draw from it. You’re ready for devotional studies, anchor prayers and practices that stretch your faith beyond the comfortable.
This path takes you into the deep water. Not to drown. To discover what’s been waiting for you beneath the surface.

    Go Deeper
  • For the Curious Wanderer

    For the Curious Wanderer

You’re not sure what you’re looking for. You just know something brought you here. Maybe it was curiosity. Maybe it was loneliness. Maybe it was that quiet ache for something real.
That’s enough. You don’t need a plan. Just wander. Read what catches your eye. Follow what stirs your heart. The right path will find you.

    Start Wondering
  • Not sure which path fits?

    Not sure which path fits?

Sometimes we know where we are on the journey but not how we’re wired. The way you naturally meet God on the page is as unique as you are.
Some of us pour out the raw and messy. Some of us sit quietly with a verse until it blooms. Some of us think on the page. Some of us write letters to God. And some of us do our deepest work at 3am when the house is finally still.
Take this quiet quiz to discover your journaling soul. It takes two minutes and it might change the way you see your journal.

There is No Wrong Path Here

Whatever brought you, whatever season you’re in, whatever state your heart is in right now, you belong. This is not a course. There are no deadlines. There is no test at the end. There is only the page, the pen and the God who meets you in the mess.

Take your time. Be kind to yourself. Know that every word you write matters, even the ones nobody else will ever read.

This is your quiet conversation and it can begin whenever you are ready.
