it speaks to your creativity?

A passion project is creating and doing something that inspires you. That something that gives you energy and the place to express yourself. Most of us either get our energy from inside or outside (speaking to the introverts and the extroverts) here. Saying this when you walk along the beach taking photographs for a coffee table book you want to give to a best friend is maybe something you would do when you’re an introvert as this energizes you. If being an extrovert and you gather your energy from people and that energizes you then finding something that speaks to that part of yourself this then becomes your passion project.

Why then start a passion project : –

1. It speaks to your creativity

There is nothing more than to start creating. Creativity begets creativity. This opens up your existing boundaries and gives you courage to explore your different processes of what your possibilities could be. Explore new ideas, experience new things that are not within your daily routine. Go for daily walks, take a camera with, explore your world. Look at different colors, describe the sounds that surround you, what do things smell like. Journal your experiences. Take photographs. Draw, paint go wild.

2. It creates balance within yourself

When you are exploring and creating you become a more healthier and stress free person. Following your passion project makes you brave, gives you confidence within yourself as this teaches you new skills that makes you explore what surrounds you. You begin to look at your life differently. You let the little things go. I remind myself that everything in life is neutral, it is how I think about situations that make the difference. If it does not have or make an impact, let go and move on.

3. Passion projects make you come to life

Creating and exploring your project makes you come to life it fulfills you. There is nothing as fulfilling when you know when you have finished a specific project and moving on to the next project. It is when you know you have put in the hard work, committed yourself to your goal and achieved your success. It is the acknowledgement that you did it, that comes from within and gives you the confidence to move forward to your next venture.

A sense of purpose gives you a reason to live your life to the fullest. Our passion projects makes our lives feel more meaningful.
